Android P Developer preview is finally out! Here are some of the features!!

While most of the phones still do not support android oreo still google has released the developer preview and has set everyone excited.Android P developer preview was  released on march 7 and is packed with some ui changes and features.

Main Changes 

-Notch support

Following the trend of bezel-less smartphones every major company is looking forward to an edge to edge display.But phones can't be completely bezel-less with the camera and ear piece on the top.Due to this many developers following Apple and its iPhone X are including notches in their displays.

This Android P diplay cutout support for notches will be helpful for app developers to make apps and games for displays with notches.

-Notification panel and messaging experience

Android P introduces several enhancements to notifications.Now you can enter text directly from notifications and notifications also support images.Along with this smart reply also has been added and some last texts of the conversation are also shown.

Auto reply feature seen on Google Allo is also found to be coming to Android P and will support WhatsApp, Facebook messenger and many other messaging services. As of now the auto reply app is available to be downloaded and is in the beta stage. It's not so perfect but can be installed and used on devices running Android 8.1 Oreo. -Multi camera support 

Android P now has inbuilt support for Multiple cameras.You can now access streams simultaneously from two or more physical cameras.And you can also toggle or switch between the lenses. This might sound weird now as the developer preview is only available for pixel phones and those are the only flagships which do not have a dual camera support. Anyway it will be helpful for many manufactures and Google understands that.

-Indoor positioning 

With this update Google is also planning on improving indoor positioning. This feature will map the indoor locations of malls, Cinema threatres and other indoor locations of infrastructures.
