Facebook Settings You should change right Now to avoid privacy issues!!

Followed by the Facebook-Cambridge analitica Scam,many people have started deleting Facebook due to privacy issues.Due to this many people are worried that how the social media company might be using the data and most of them are deleting facebook.While deleting facebook might not bring back your data from Facebook here are few settings you should change right now so as to ensure that you give least Data about yourself to Facebook.


Checking Apps and services that have access to your data

The main source of data is those nasty apps which collect info about you.
Follow the steps below to remove your data from these apps  
  • First head on to the settings tab of your facebook and click on apps located on the left side column.

  • Now you'll see the list of all the apps that have been using your data.clicking on the specific app will show you the data the app has access to.CLICK ON THE CROSS BUTTON BESIDE THE APP TO REMOVE DATA ACCESS.

  • You will get a popup,asking if you want to remove the app.NOW CLICK REMOVE.
  • Follow the above steps for Rest of the apps and the app will no longer be able to collect more data from you.
Note that the app might still have data you shared with them

Apps others use that might leak your data

Even if you don't use such personality test apps or other services,you might still let your data be accessed as one of your friend uses such apps.we all have that friend that uses such services so here's what you can do.
  • in the apps menu scroll down till you find APPS OTHERS USE and click on edit.
  • Here you can edit the data you provide when your friends access such services.Untick most/all of the \m according to your choice.

Removing facebook and Messenger apps permissions

Facebook records audio to display ads that's creepy but you can stop this by removing app permissions of facebook and facebook messenger by going in your phone settings.

  • Go to your phone settings<Apps<facebook/messenger<permissions and disable audio and camera access.
